In an effort to build top talent for the future, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has explored the possibility of adding Angban Bekanty Victorien in a transfer deal with Stade d'Abidjan, a club in the Ivory Coast, according to liverpoolfc.tv.

The 16-year-old starred for the Ivory Coast in the Under-17 World Cup along with fellow phenoms Coulibaly Souleymane and Diarrassouba Drissa. Adding Victorien to Liverpool would bode well for the future of the club.

While there had been reports that a deal had already been struck, Stade d’Abidjan boss Abi Koffi said nothing has been agreed on yet.

"Liverpool has not agreed anything with me yet; I have nothing written," he said. "I have contact from them through some agents but they are not the only club interested in the boy."
