Hours after the New York Jets showered wide receiver Santonio Holmes with a five-year $50 million contract, fellow free agent wideout Braylon Edwards seems to think his days in the Big Apple have come to an end.

Shortly after 5 p.m., Edwards tweeted (since removed, but screen grab can be seen below) about how his future in New York seems unlikely.

"I would love to be a Jet but the feeling doesn't seem to be mutual with the management," Edwards tweeted.

Edwards finished the 2010 season with 53 receptions for 904 yards and seven touchdowns, while Holmes finished with 52 catches, 746 yards and six touchdowns in four fewer games than the former Michigan Wolverines standout.

With Edwards and the Jets appearing destined for a separation, reports have surfaced that former New England Patriots wideout Randy Moss could find himself a part of Gang Green.
