Carl Crawford Must Block Out Recent Elbow Injury Upon Returning to Red Sox Lineup

Carl Crawford has already had to come back from one injury this season. If his second return is as good as the first one, the Red Sox outfielder should be just fine.

Crawford, who was hitting well after a return from the 15-day disabled list for a hamstring strain, was out of the Sox lineup the last two games with an elbow injury. However, he received a cortisone shot and returns to the lineup on Friday night.

Now, as Jim Rice pointed out on Red Sox First Pitch, Crawford must trust that his elbow will be fine, as he looks to regain his groove.
