Bruins assistant general manager Don Sweeney said that the team has tried to implement certain things at the team's development camp, which entered its third day Saturday. Sweeney said the team will soon do more scrimmaging, though, which gives players an opportunity to show off their creativity.
One player taking part in the camp is Boston University product David Warsofsky. He spoked with NESN's Randy Scott following Saturday's workouts and said that he is trying to learn as much as he can during the camp, while also showing leadership.
Warsofsky said that he plans on working hard every day in an effort to prove himself. He said watching Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand quickly make an impact at the NHL level definitely shows that there's an opportunity for him to make the team from the onset, rather than automatically being sent to Providence to begin the season.
