FC Barcelona forward Jeffren, a player whom Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has his sights set on for a transfer deal, is now gaining interest from Premier League rival Fulham.
Cottagers manager Martin Jol submitted a £7.2 million bid to Barcelona in order to acquire the 23-year-old. The £7.2 million is thought to be more than Liverpool is prepared to offer.
Jeffrén appears ready to move on from Barcelona after failing to earn a spot on the club's top team. He has played for the Barcelona organization since 2006 but has only three goals for Barca's first team.
Jol is scheduled to meet with Jeffrén and his father, who is Jeffrén's agent, on Monday to discuss a potential move.
