The tough part about being an inspiration for a new idea is that you have to do something first to warrant attention.

Unfortunately for Tiger Woods, his actions warranted a little too much attention.

In light of Woods' extramarital affair scandal, Intellectual Ventures has proposed an idea that allows mobile phone users to block or hide unwanted phone numbers on their statements, according to geekwire.com. The company cited an incident involving a "well-known and well-admired athlete," Woods, as its inspiration.

The idea proposal's intentions are to help all mobile users, especially the high-profile, avoid humiliation and problems with spouses.

Seems like a proposal to not cheat on your spouse would have done just fine.
