Randy Moss in 'Freakish Shape,' has 'Huge Chip on His Shoulder,' According to Agent Joel Segal New England Patriots fans fondly remember the Randy Moss that had 98 receptions for 1,493 yards and scored 23 touchdowns in 2007.

That Randy Moss was shipped to Minnesota in 2010 — his second stint with the Vikings, which ended about as acrimoniously as the first go around. Moss then finished the season with the Tennessee Titans.

He started in only four of his eight games in a Titans uniform, lining up a meager stat line along the way: six receptions for 80 yards and no touchdowns.

With those kinds of stats, and with Tennessee making it clear they are not looking to re-sign Moss for 2011, it seems as if the writing is on the wall: the 6-foot-4, future Hall of Famer's glory days are over.

Joel Segal, his agent, sees a much different story, reports ESPN.

"He is determined, motivated and quite frankly has a huge chip on his shoulder. Whatever team ends up getting Randy, they're going to know they're getting the old Randy Moss," Segal told NFL.com, according to ESPN. "He's not just coming in to be on the team, he's going to be Randy Moss — a difference maker."

Segal believes this is the case, not only because he is his agent, but because Moss is now in "freakish shape" after "working out, two-a-days, all spring and summer in West Virginia."

One team that might be interested in the freakishly in shape Moss is the New York Jets.

They potentially have wide receiver issues on the horizon, as they will attempt to re-sign Brad Smith, Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards once the lockout is resolved. If one or more of those players signs with another team, Gang Green could wind up calling Segal to work out a deal for Moss.
