Red Sox’ Resilience Dealing With Injuries Reminds Jim Rice of 1975 Team

Yamaico Navarro makes his first major league start of the season Sunday when he starts at shortstop for the Red Sox. The Red Sox have made heavy use of their bench players and minor league call-ups with injuries to a number of regular players this season.

Jim Rice said this team's depth reminds him of 1975, when injuries couldn't slow down a team that made it to the seventh game of the World Series.

Check out video above of Rice recalling the memory on Red Sox Gameday Live.
