Kevin Youkilis left the Red Sox' game Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays after he was hit by a pitch.

A pitch by Blue Jays pitcher Brandon Morrow appeared to hit the third baseman near the back of his neck. Youkilis was already playing with nagging soreness in both ankles.

Yamaico Navarro took over at third base.
