After earning a Super Bowl ring with Green Bay last season, a long-time cornerstone of the Packers defense will be taking his talents to the AFC East.

Linebacker Nick Barnett has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $12 million contract with the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Barnett, who has played all eight of his NFL seasons in Green Bay, will take over the linebacker spot in Buffalo vacated by Paul Posluszny, who signed with Jacksonville on Wednesday.

A Pro Bowler in 2007, Barnett has recorded 100 or more tackles in six of his eight seasons.

Injuires have been a concern in recent years, however, as Barnett ended up on injured reserve in two of the last three seasons. He played in just four games in 2010 before a wrist injury knocked him out for the remainder of the year.
