Now that the NFL lockout has finally reached its end, its time for teams to get back to work, as they look to build Super Bowl contenders.

Employees of NFL teams might also start getting their lost money back — that is, if owners follow the lead of Jets’ owner Woody Johnson. According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, Johnson gathered with 150 New York Jets employees and told them that money they lost during the five-month lockout will be returned to them in full.

A report from the Associated Press in June revealed that the Jets were one of seven teams that implemented furloughs or pay cuts with employees in order to save money during the impending lockout. According to Cimini, the Jets cut football relations employee salaries by 25 percent with the provision that all lost money will be returned if no games were missed during the work stoppage.

Head coach Rex Ryan and general manager Mike Tannenbaum were included in these cuts as well, while non-contract employees were forced to take unpaid furloughs.
