Report: Vancouver Riots Will Lead to Charges for 'Several Hundred People' In the old days of rioting, you could probably get away with a little bit more than you can in the age of the Internet, Facebook and Twitter. Just ask the "several hundred people" who have some legal issues in their very near future.

According to a report in The Vancouver Sun, Vancouver police chief Jim Chu said that several hundred people will face charges for participating in the riot following the Canucks' Game 7 loss to the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final. Only 37 people have turned themselves in, but the police have gone through more than 15,000 images and are nearly ready to press charges.

Some of the charges will include participating in a riot, assault, assaulting a police officer, theft, robbery, arson, possession of weapons and possession of stolen property.

According to the report, the police department received 4,300 email tips and 1,500 hours of video.
