The Wall Street Journal's Daniel Barbarisi polled 18 Yankees players asking them who's the loudest, slowest, best-dressed and such. One of the questions was, "Which Yankee would have been most likely to be class president in high school?" The answer from nearly all of them was Granderson.
"That guy's Obama Jr.," teammate Robinson Cano said.
Also interesting in the poll was Jorge Posada's steadfast refusal to accept his title as the slowest runner on the Yankees.
"I'm not the slowest runner here. I'm just telling you right now," Posada, who was voted to be slower than even Bartolo Colon, told the Journal. "[Nick] Swisher's slower than me. He didn't want to run in spring training this year. That tells you right there."
