The first-place Red Sox continue their home stand Saturday night when they host the Seattle Mariners in the second game of the three-game series.

The Red Sox, who have won five of seven since the All-Star break, send Josh Beckett (8-3, 2.12 ERA) to the mound in search of his ninth win. Boston's hitters will dig in against Blake Beavan (1-1, 2.70), a 22-year-old rookie right-hander making his fourth straight start in place of injured Erik Bedard.

Tune in to NESN at 6 p.m. for pregame coverage leading up to the 7:10 p.m. scheduled first pitch.
