The banged-up Red Sox could use a few days off to mend during the upcoming All-Star break. Rather than limping into the intermission, though, they're earning their rest with a surge to finish the first half of the season.

The Red Sox aim to stretch their win streak to five games when they take on the Orioles on Saturday. John Lackey (5-8, 7.47 ERA) seeks redemption as the only member of the opening day rotation who's not suffering from some type of injury. He'll start opposite O's right-hander Alfredo Simon (1-1, 4.64 ERA).

Tune in to NESN coverage starting at 6 p.m. Stayed tuned after the game for more Red Sox news and for NESN Daily.
