FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots held a very low-maintenance walkthrough Wednesday afternoon before departing for Tampa. A large portion of them wore street clothes, and at least a dozen were in sandals during the 45-minute session.

Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth, left tackle Matt Light, linebacker Brandon Spikes, linebacker Jermaine Cunningham, wide receiver Julian Edelman, wide receiver Taylor Price, wide receiver Brandon Tate, cornerback Ras-I Dowling, running back Shane Vereen, running back Kevin Faulk, safety James Sanders, offensive lineman Ryan Wendell, defensive lineman Shaun Ellis, defensive lineman Mike Wright, defensive lineman Ron Brace and defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick were among the players who weren't spotted at the walkthrough.

It wasn't possible to take an exact attendance count because players weren't in jerseys. There were other players who were presumed to be missing, but the aforementioned list included the biggest names.

It's a strong indication that players who were absent from the walkthrough will not play Thursday night against the Buccaneers. Each player on the list above had been dealing with some type of injury that had kept them from practicing for at least the prior two sessions.
