Bartolo Colon, Deer Antler Spray Grab NESN Nation’s Attention As Yankees Visit Fenway

Bartolo Colon's resurgence this year after a controversial surgery involving stem cells is pretty intriguing stuff as the right-hander prepares to face the Red Sox on Friday night.

While Colon has stood up to scrutiny so far on the season, a different controversy has also reared its head: the news that MLB is telling players not to use deer antler spray as a "steroid alternative."

All we know is, there's certainly a lot of controversy swirling as the Red Sox host the Yankees for a three-game series with first place in the AL East on the line.

NESN Nation's Nate Hinchey doesn't quite understand a) how Colon's surgery worked and b) why baseball players needed to be told not to use deer antler spray in the first place. Bambi deserves a little bit more respect than that, doesn't he?

Check out the video to see what Nate has to say and join NESN Nation's live chat of Friday's game at the NESN Nation in-game page.
