Carl Crawford Hitting Sixth Against Alexi Ogando As Red Sox Look to Take Series With Rangers

Carl Crawford will move a spot in the Red Sox lineup on Thursday night in Texas as the Sox look to take three out of four from the Rangers.

Crawford will be in left and hitting sixth for Boston one night after driving in a career-high five runs in a 13-2 rout of the Rangers.

Also moving up in the lineup with Alexi Ogando on the hill for Ron Washington's Rangers is third baseman Jed Lowrie. He's all the way up to the two-hole while Marco Scutaro drops all the way down to ninth.

It will be Ogando's first career start against the Red Sox, although he has made a few relief appearances against Boston. Ogando has thrown just 4 1/3 innings in his brief two-year career against the Sox, and the Boston starting lineup has just four at-bats against him. Scutaro is the only member of the lineup to have a hit off the right-hander.

Andrew Miller is on the mound for the Red Sox. Like Ogando, he has very little experience against the Rangers, as this is also his first start, and the left-hander has thrown just one inning in his career against Texas.
