CC Sabathia Escapes Trouble Against Red Sox, Wins NESN Nation’s ‘Playing With Fire’ Player of Game

Sooner or later, the Red Sox hitters were going to make CC Sabathia pay for all the baserunners he let on during Tuesday's game. At least, that's what we thought would happen.

Instead, Sabathia was able to escape with his first win against the Sox this season as he stranded 13 baserunners in his six innings of work. For that, Nate Hinchey is awarding him NESN Nation's "Playing With Fire" player of the game award.

Because if you play with fire long enough… you will get burned. Until next time, CC. This isn't over.

Watch the video, vote for your player of the game in the poll below and comment if you think the Red Sox will get to Sabathia next time the teams square off.

Who is your "Playing With Fire" player of the game?
