Dolphins Fans Boo Chad Henne at Training Camp, Chant ‘We Want [Kyle] Orton’

Like several NFL teams, the Dolphins came out of the lockout with a quarterback situation that was uncertain at best.

After plans to acquire Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton fell through last week, Miami instead brought in former Panther Matt Moore, and Dolphins fans let the disapproval be known.

Palm Beach Post reporter Edgar Thompson tweeted Monday that Miami fans booed quarterback Chad Henne after underthrown passes in a Dolphins scrimmage, and began chanting "We want Orton!"

It was originally expected that Orton would be traded out of Denver — with Miami a speculated destination — to make room for budding star Tim Tebow, but Orton has reportedly cemented his starting spot after outperforming Tebow thus far in camp.

The Dolphins' hopes at quarterback now rely on Henne, who is coming off another lackluster season (15 TDs, 19 INTs) and Moore, who was benched in favor of Jimmy Clausen in Carolina last season after posting a 55.2 completion percentage with five TDs and 10 picks.

Rounding out the current depth chart are Tom Brandstater, who is with his third team in as many years, and rookie Pat Devlin out of Delaware. Neither has thrown a pass in an NFL game.
