Think a 100-yard chip shot at Augusta National is difficult? How about trying it at home plate at Fenway Park.

"Chipping in for the Red Sox Foundation" is a raffle where three grand prize winners get to challenge Red Sox legend and MLB Hall of Famer Jim Rice and chip a golf ball from home plate to a one-foot diameter marker in center field. Anyone hitting a one-foot-diameter target in center field will win a $5,000 prize and the first to hit the target will generate a $50,000 donation to the Red Sox Foundation in the winner's name.

The event takes place Aug. 29, the day before the Deutsche Bank Championship, the PGA Tour Playoff event being held at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.

Raffle tickets for this event can be purchased at www.redsox.com/golf, and will be on sale from Aug. 5 to Aug. 25. Tickets are $25 and include a ticket to the  Deutsche Bank Championship's Red Sox Legends and Friends Pro-Am, held Tuesday, Sept. 2 at TPC Boston. You must be at least 18-years-old to enter.

A limited number of tickets will be raffled, and the drawing is Aug. 25 at noon.

In addition to the three grand prizes to golf at Fenway, other raffle prizes include a Red Sox Destinations Spring Training package, a package that includes four Green Monster tickets to an April 2012 Red Sox game, an opportunity to watch batting practice and have a personalized scoreboard message, five 30-minute golf lessons at the Golf Town Academy and many more.

All proceeds from the raffle will be used to benefit the Red Sox Foundation.
