The FBI has issued a “wanted” poster for former NBA point guard Javaris Crittenton and are warning the public that the fugitive is “armed and dangerous.”

The 23-year-old is charged in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Julian Jones on Aug. 19 in Atlanta. Witnesses to the crime say they saw Crittenton in a dark SUV wielding an assault rifle.

FBI officials believe Crittenton traveled to Los Angeles, where he is known to have family and friends, to avoid law enforcement authorities. On Aug. 24, Crittenton bought a one-way airplane ticket to Los Angeles.
