Sacramento Kings guard and former BYU super-duperstar Jimmer Fredette announced via Twitter that he is engaged to girlfriend (and BYU cheerleader) Whitney Wonnacott.
"I'm officially engaged everyone," Fredette tweeted. "She Said yes and she was completely surprised! It was perfect!"
Wonnacott confirmed the news on her own Twitter account, declaring that "[Jimmer] proposed! Were officially engaged!"
It's unclear whether Jimmer was able to put the ring on her finger from 30 feet away with a hand in his face. But it wouldn't surprise us, either.
