Jonathan Papelbon’s Bounce-Back Season a Product of Increased Strength

Jonathan Papelbon struggled, at least relatively speaking, in 2010. He's bounced back in 2011, though, and is showing no real signs of slowing down, either.

The Boston Globe's Michael Vega spoke about the Red Sox closer on Red Sox Gameday Live Presented by UNO, and he said that much of Papelbon's continued success this season stems from his increased strength. Vega said that Papelbon is feeling much stronger as the calendar starts its dash toward autumn, and that is something that is clearly making a difference.
