Liverpool confirmed on Wednesday that 22-year-old striker David Ngog has completed his transfer to Bolton Wanderers.

Ngog, who hasn’t been able to hold down a place with Liverpool since joining the club from Paris St. German in 2008, will join Owen Coyle‘s club on a deal that’s reportedly worth around £4 million ($6.4 million).

Coyle has reportedly targeted Ngog for some time, so the move certainly brings much delight to the Bolton manager.

“David will be a great addition to our squad. He is quick, can score goals and he knows what the Premier League is all about,” Coyle said, according to the BBC.

The French striker scored 19 goals in 94 appearances with the Reds.

Bolton also added 20-year-old Frenchman Gael Kakuta, who joins Bolton on a loan until Jan. 1. Kakuta spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham.
