NESN once again did its part in helping with the 2011 WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon by helping to provide coverage of the two-day event during morning, afternoon and night. However, lending a helping hand didn’t end there.
When it was all said and done, NESN was able to donate $18,000 to the Jimmy Fund leading up to and over the course of the telethon. Employee donations reached $9,000, and that amount was matched by the company.
NESN employees helped the telethon by donating their time to the efforts down on Yawkey Way, helping with the production of the telethon and by answering phones and doing other things to help raise money.
