NESN.com, which consistently ranks as one of the most-visited regional sports network (RSN) websites in the country, set a new record in July with 1,085,000 monthly unique visitors in U.S. traffic, according to comScore statistics released this week. The sports news site increased it unique visitor count by 8 percent over the site's previous record month of June 2011. NESN.com also garnered a record 17.7 million page views in July, an increase of 1.6 million page views from the site's previous record of 16.1 million set in June 2011.

The website's consistent growth the past few months parallels the network's TV ratings success. Red Sox ratings on NESN continue to rise and currently stand at a 7.9 household average, 25 percent higher than last year's ratings after the same number of games.

NESN.com serves passionate sports fans throughout New England, the U.S., and the world with superior coverage of NESN's flagship broadcast professional teams, the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins.  NESN.com has dedicated sections covering the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots as well as a special section for each of the major professional sports leagues (MLB, NHL, NFL, and NBA).
