The Patriots have been in scramble mode due to the damage left by Hurricane Irene.

Gillette Stadium was still without power Monday morning, and the team had to move to an off-site location to conduct its meetings and film sessions. The Patriots weren't scheduled to practice Monday.

It's already a hectic week, and Irene has compounded the issue. The Patriots have to cut the roster to 80 players by Tuesday afternoon, and they'll play the Giants on a short week Thursday. The Giants, meanwhile, are in an even more difficult position, as their preseason game against the Jets has been rescheduled twice due to the hurricane and will be played Monday night.

The Patriots will conduct a series of conference calls with the media because the stadium availability has been canceled.
