Red Sox Face Difficult Test Over Rest of Homestand With Yankees, Rangers Coming to Town

It will be September by the time the Red Sox wrap up their current homestand, but by the end of this weekend, it may feel like October at Fenway Park.

That has nothing to do with the weather, but instead, it's a reflection of the type of schedule the Sox will face over their next six games. Boston welcomes the Yankees to town on Tuesday night for a three-game set before Texas comes barging in for three over the weekend.

It should obviously prove to be a difficult stretch for Boston, and it may also serve as a barometer of where the team stands as they hit the stretch run.

Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy talked about the rest of the homestand on Red Sox Gameday Live Presented by UNO. See what they had to say in the video above.
