Mother Nature threatened to leave her mark on the Patriots’ 2002 AFC divisional playoff game against the Raiders. But with snow piling on the ground, Pats kicker Adam Vinatieri nailed a 45-yard field goal with 27 seconds left to force overtime, during which the Pats pulled out a victory.

They then, of course, went on to defeat the St. Louis Rams in the Super Bowl later that postseason.
