In the early afternoon on Wednesday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft said that he thought a contract for Logan Mankins could be done “soon.”
Kraft wasn’t kidding.
Mankins signed a six-year contract to stay with the Patriots, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Financial terms were not immediately known. Mankins had been in line to earn the franchise figure of $10.1 million this season.
