Report: Shaquille O'Neal's Leaked Emails Show Superstar Tried to Get TMZ Reporter Arrested For someone with such a high approval rating from the American public, Shaquille O’Neal sure does appear to have a lot of skeletons in his closet.

The now-retired NBA superstar had a very public divorce a couple of years ago, was at the center of a wild accusation that had him sending seven men to beat up a man who claimed to have a sex tape of Shaq, and was accused of planting a GPS in his ex-wife’s car to keep tabs on her.

Now, the Miami New Times is releasing a string of alleged leaked Shaq emails that expose the star’s intentions to have a TMZ reporter arrested.

The report explains that a TMZ reporter contacted a woman named Christina, who had reportedly been involved romantically with O’Neal. The reporter offered $3,500 in exchange for proof of their relationship.

Upon learning this news, O’Neal allegedly contacted his agent and said the following:

Ok but in the meantime o boy needs to b put in jail, we have way to many law enforcement connections to let a criminal try to get over on mine o mine, we dnt need any distraction was we deal with our harvard guy, shoe line guy, retaraunt guy, real estate guy, and everything we are planning to do for the after basketball life. I promised u I would stay outta trouble, I kept my word, but cannot control somebody dtealing and selling emails. Come on now protect me from this. I lost my family because of this guy, come on now.

The email was reportedly a part of the lawsuit that alleged O’Neal and others planted child pornography on the computer of Shawn Darling.
