Tom Brady Says There’s a Lot of Work to Be Done After Lockout, Stresses Value of Time on Practice Field

Football is back in full swing following a lengthy lockout, with each team in the midst of an accelerated training camp.

Tom Brady hasn't quite looked like his MVP self so far at Patriots training camp, but the six-time Pro Bowl quarterback says you can't expect to just show up and be in midseason form.

Brady also said that you can't have bad practices because there's so few of them before the start of the preseason and, more importantly, the beginning of the regular season. He said the team is behind where it would usually be at this point because of the lockout, which means the team will need to put in extra work and spend extra time studying.

To hear what else Brady had to say about the Patriots' offseason so far, check out Jeff Howe's report for NESN Daily.
