In case you haven't heard, there's a hurricane coming. But before the bad weather hits Boston, there will be baseball.

That begins Friday night, when the Red Sox play host to the Oakland A's. Tim Wakefield will be on the mound, again seeking that elusive 200th career victory. The A's head to Fenway Park after being on the wrong end of a 22-9 score in the Bronx on Thursday.

NESN's pregame coverage begins at 5:30 p.m., with Tom Caron, Peter Gammons and Heidi Watney. First pitch comes shortly after 7 p.m., with Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy providing the call.

Stay tuned after postgame coverage for NESN Daily.
