Two Members of Earnhardt Ganassi Racing Charged With Marijuana Trafficking

Two members of Earnhardt Ganassi Racing are reportedly in hot water.

According to the Huntersville, N.C., Police Department, Trevor Lynse and Jerome David Frey, a front tire changer and mechanic for EGR, respectively, were caught with 10 1/2 pounds of marijuana.

Lynse, who works on Juan Pablo Montoya's Sprint Cup team, was charged with one count of trafficking marijuana, one count of possession with intent to sell and one count of maintaining a dwelling to distribute marijuana.

Frey was charged with one count of trafficking and one count of possession with intent to sell.

Lynse was released on $30,000 bond and will likely face suspension from NASCAR for violating the drug policy.
