Editor's note: Every day leading up to the start of the 2011-12 season, NESN.com will post one fight from the 2010-11 Bruins season. At the end of each week, fans can vote for what they thought was the best fight of the week, and after every fight has been posted, they can vote on which fight was the best of the year.

Shawn Thornton and Adam McQuaid again showed their faces — and their fists — during the fifth week of NESN.com's "Bear Knuckle Bouts." But that's to be somewhat expected.

Week 5 featured multiple rumbles that occurred as part a huge brouhaha with the Atlanta Thrashers, though. After Milan Lucic was laid out, several teammates rushed to the forward's defense. The check set off a series of fights, including bouts involving Marc Savard, Nathan Horton and Andrew Ference.

This week also saw a ruthless matchup between Gregory Campbell and Kyle Chipchura.

Here are the Week 5 nominees (click the links to watch the fights).
