NHL.com released its list of the biggest hitters of all time on Saturday, and Bruins fans will be pleased with the results.

Current B’s captain Zdeno Chara and Bruins legend Cam Neely both earned spots in the top 10, which also includes active NHLers Cal Clutterbuck, Alex Ovechkin and Dion Phaneuf.

The tallest man in the league at 6-foot-9, Chara (No. 7 on the list) is one of the most imposing figures in the NHL.

Neely, who comes in at No. 4 on the list, was more renowned for his scoring during his career in Boston, scoring 344 goals over 10 seasons. His playing mentality was much like Ovechkin’s today, however, and he played with a tenacity that often sent opponents into the boards and Neely into the penalty box.

Ovechkin ranked sixth on the NHL’s list, while the top three spots were occupied by Hall of Famer Dennis Potvin, Phaneuf and Scott Stevens, whose vicious open-ice hits earned him the nickname “Captain Crunch.”
