Auburn Fans React Negatively to Old Navy Commercial, Set Up Facebook Page in Effort to Boycott Store

Sometimes branding products can be dicey. Companies can win over fans, but they can also create enemies — just ask Auburn fans.

Old Navy created a commercial representing their Superfan Nation clothing line, which features Alabama fans singing and hanging out in a Crimson Tide-themed room. The ad culminates when an Auburn fan shows up dressed as a tiger. The Alabama fans react negatively until one of the children says it's OK because the Auburn fan brought pizza.

Many Auburn fans haven't reacted well to the commercial, though, and a Facebook page has been created, which advocates boycotting Old Navy. Comments on the Facebook page were mixed — some fans supported the page while others asked followers to move on.
