Bear Knuckle Bouts: Nathan Horton Fights Back During Bruins Loss, Challenges Dion Phaneuf

Nathan Horton hates losing. Six seasons with a losing team will do that to you. So when the Bruins trailed the Maple Leafs 5-1 in late March, Horton wasn’t going down without a fight. Literally.

With just over eight minutes to play in the third, Horton shamed Dion Phaneuf into fighting him. Although Horton lost the bout, it sent a good message to his teammates and the city of Boston: Don't accept losing by four goals.
