Wow, Billy Beane looks great. Oh wait, that's Brad Pitt on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Pitt will grace the cover of SI's Sept. 26 issue wearing an Oakland A's hat with the headline "The New Moneyball."

The actor plays A's general manager Billy Beane in the upcoming Moneyball movie, an interesting casting decision considering what Pitt calls a "shameful" lack of baseball knowledge.

"I'm amazed they let me do this movie," Pitt said. "Baseball and I didn't get along that well."

The issue hits stands on Wednesday and also features an article on the Red Sox front office written by Tom Verducci.
