Kyle Weiland is on the mound for the Red Sox, who try to rebound from a 1-3 finish to their previous series with the Rays.

Weiland (0-2, 7.58 ERA) is pitching on three days rest, but his previous outing is one he’d like to forget. The Rays feasted on him, getting him to 61 pitches in just three innings and picking up four runs in the process.

Jeremy Guthrie (8-17, 4.22 ERA) is on the mound for the Orioles, who are trying to end the season strong after picking up two out of three against the Angels.

Jacoby Ellsbury is leading off once again, with Marco Scutaro filling the second spot previously occupied by Mike Aviles.

Adrian Gonzalez and Dustin Pedroia stand pat as in the third and fourth spots. David Ortiz bats fifth for the Sox for the second day in a row, after being bumped down from the fourth spot on Sunday.

The Sox continue to shuffle the lineup in the outfield, with Josh Reddick taking Conor Jackson‘s spot from Sunday. Reddick bats sixth on Monday.

Carl Crawford is out of the lineup for the second day in a row with a sore neck, and Darnell McDonald fills in for him in the outfield, batting last.
