Fan Ideas for Combatting Red Sox Slump Include Getting Injured Pitchers Back, Darnell McDonald Pitching

Well things are certainly getting dicey now.

John Lackey was ineffective on Friday night and to make matters worse, he left the game early after getting hit by a line drive.

Add that to the long list of Red Sox pitching woes (Josh Beckett, Clay Buchholz, Erik Bedard and Daisuke Matsuzaka are all banged-up to varying degrees) and all of a sudden the long-term outlook for the Sox begins to look a bit iffy.

Nate Hinchey thought he would ask the fans for ideas to help the Red Sox turn things around. We received a lot of answers from NESN Nation's Facebook fans and Twitter followers and picked out some of the best answers.

See what they are in the video.
