The Providence Bruins have added former Boston Bruins players Andy Brickley and Bob Beers to the roster for the Bruins Alumni Game on Nov. 13.

Beers began and ended his career with the Boston Bruins. He was a member of the 1999 Calder Cup champion Providence Bruins. Since hanging up the skates, Beers has joined WBZ for its Bruins radio coverage. He also contributes to NESN’s Bruins and college hockey coverage.

Brickley is no stranger to the New England hockey scene, either. The New England native, born in Melrose, Mass., graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1982. After being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers with the last pick that year, he eventually found his way back home and spent four seasons with the Bruins from 1988 to 1992. Brickley is now a color commentator for Bruins games on NESN.

The two join a roster that already includes Aaron Downey, Fred Knipscheer, Brett Harkins, Rick Middleton and Don Sweeney.

Over the next month, the Providence Bruins will continue to add players to the alumni roster. To buy tickets for the alumni game, check out ProvidenceBruins.com.
