Jacoby Ellsbury Pleased With Season He’s Had, But Understands There’s Still Work to Be Done As Red Sox Head to Baltimore

Jacoby Ellsbury continues to show why his name has been continuously tossed around in AL MVP discussions. The Red Sox center fielder blasted three home runs on Sunday during the team's doubleheader with the Yankees, including a huge three-run shot in the 14th inning of the nightcap.

Ellsbury is now the only player in franchise history to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases in a season. Although he's pleased with his production and the consistency he's achieved this season, he knows that a playoff berth will make his season that much better.

To hear what Ellsbury had to say after the Red Sox' big 7-4 victory on Sunday night, check out the video above.
