Jarrod Saltalamacchia homered in the ninth and Jacoby Ellsbury followed it up with a blast of his own to tie the game, but ultimately the Red Sox lost to the Tampa Bay Rays in 11 innings.

It was the latest in a series of tough, tough losses for the Sox, who currently appear to be somewhere in between a "tailspin" and a "meltdown."

Luckily, stopper Jon Lester is on the mound Sunday in a very important game that will be the difference between a 3 1/2 or 5 1/2 game lead in the AL Wild Card race.

NESN Nation's Nate Hinchey is awarding Saltalamacchia NESN Nation's "Ray of Sunshine" player of the game award for giving Red Sox fans a reminder that this is a team that is actually winning the Wild Card race, despite how it may feel at times.

We also asked fans what would help them finally relax after the team's rocky play these past few weeks. Check out the video to see what NESN Nation had to say about that.
