Former ESPN announcer and baseball Hall of Famer Joe Morgan has been selected to lead Cincinnati's annual World's Largest Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest, according to Cincinnati.com.

Event organizers reportedly reached out to Morgan because of his unique batting stance. While playing for the Cincinnati Reds' Big Red Machine, Morgan would flap his back elbow while preparing to swing.

"In the long and storied history of the event, we have never had a chicken dancer with so much on the job experience," Oktoberfest spokesman Patrick Sheeran is quoted as saying.

According to the event's website, the festival has been taking place since 1976 and has grown to become the largest Oktoberfest in North America. The dance will take place next Saturday, Sept. 17.
