John Lackey Happy Red Sox Won Second Game of Doubleheader With Orioles, But Frustrated With Way He Pitched

It's no secret that the Red Sox' ultimate goal at the end of the day is to win baseball games, which is something that hasn't come quite as easily lately. Starter John Lackey understands that, which is why he made it clear that he's happy the team was able to pull out a victory in the second game of its doubleheader with the Orioles.

But Lackey also admitted that he's frustrated with the way he pitched on Monday night. The right-hander allowed eight earned runs on 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings, receiving a no-decision after failing to complete the required five innings.
