The Buffalo Bills' surprising 2-0 start has bettors expecting a game that should be close, but not too close, against the Patriots on Sunday.

The Patriots are giving away 7 1/2 points in the 1 p.m. game at Ralph Wilson Stadium, according to the betting site Bodog.

Despite the vastly different records of these teams in recent years, their head-to-head results have not all been as lopsided. Before a 38-3 drubbing in Buffalo last season, the Patriots pulled out a 38-30 victory in Week 3. Two years ago, the Patriots squeaked out two close victories — a 25-24 win in the season opener and a 17-10 victory in December.

Sunday's game pits the league's top scoring offense of Buffalo against the top offense in total yardage in New England. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has led the Bills to an NFL-leading 79 points, an average of 39.5 per game. Tom Brady is the NFL's leading passer with 940 yards and seven touchdowns, and has guided the Patriots offense to an average of 563 yards per game.
