When the Patriots and Jets hook up, you can guarantee its going to be an emotionally charged game. The two teams have traded shots on and off the field in recent years, making it one of the NFL's best rivalries.

For those reasons, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that New England fans are most excited for the team's Week 5 matchup with the Jets, which will be played on Oct. 9.

Fans are purchasing tickets to that contest at a season-high average of $357 a ticket, according to SeatGeek. That figure represents not only the highest average ticket price of any home game this season, but it also trumps that of any of New England's away games as well.

The most demanded away game for the Pats this year is the team's Oct. 30 game in Pittsburgh. Tickets for that game are selling for an average of $268 per ticket.
