Don't look now, but this one may end up coming down to the wire.

The Rays were unable to capitalize against Kyle Weiland's uneven pitching performance on Saturday night and the ballgame remains close. The Red Sox rookie pitcher was able to escape through five innings of work while only allowing three runs.

Although it feels like the game shouldn't be as close as it is, you won't hear NESN Nation's Nate Hinchey complaining about it.

But the Red Sox probably shouldn't make a habit out of hoping that their opponents keep stranding all those baserunners.
